They’ve got a youth team coach called Michael Jackson to take charge today. I thought it was odd, but it’s there in black and white.

Re: Dyche Sacked!
when I read they'd sacked him all I had to go on was how much non West Ham piped up about us daring to get above our station as a football club and as I live in North London all Arsenal fans calling for Wenger's head when it was clear to everyone outside their support recognised that Wenger was an Arsenal stooge knowing that they had to pay a massive amount for their stadium, wanted to charge the highest ticket prices in the league while keeping buying new players to an absolute minimum for YEARS.

You can hardly say 'please buy the most expensive season tickets in the world despite us not signing tons of players and treading water for a number of years' can he?

reading on here that Dyche was extremely popular with the fans just makes me think that contrary to my last post on this subject, it appears that it's the board that have made a massive boo-boo getting rid of him.

Still, as long as we win tomorrow (and sorry, I can feel it in my bones that we won't) I couldn't really give much of a fuck about them and their troubles

I thought he'd keep them up, and, even if he didn't, he'd get them back.

No

Just as I thought, Sven. It's nothing like Allardyce with us at all, this is an absolutely mad decision that their fans will be as baffled about as the rest of us.

Celebrity Burnley fans ....

Journalist and broadcaster Tony Livesey, a lifelong Burnley fan who presents ‘Drive’ for BBC Radio 5 Live, added: “The new owners of Burnley football club have just removed part of its soul. ‍They. Just. Don’t. Get. It.”

Popular Radio One DJ Jordan North, who featured on ‘I’m A Celeb’, posted an image of himself stood in front of the Sean Dyche mural in town, along with the wording: "The Gaffer. Thank you Sean, we owe you everything.”

Former Burnley centre back Steven Caldwell was just as flabbergasted: “Utterly baffling. The decision is bad, the timing is horrendous. It’s hard to actually wrap your head around it.”

Writer, communicator, consultant, strategist, mental health campaigner and big Burnley supporter Alastair Campbell, concluded: “There are no words to describe how much Sean Dyche, Ian Woan and the coaches have done for @BurnleyOfficial in last decade.

Re: Dyche Sacked!
After Alladice and every pundit under the sun saying that we were mad to want him out because he'd keep us up (like that is the pinnacle of what a shit team like West Ham can aspire to) and the shitty hairy cunt Keys famous 'be careful what you wish for' comments I tend to not weigh in with my opinions about other clubs' managers.

I don't listen to every interview they give, pay attention to the teams they put out, know their relationships with owners and fans and drag through every little snippet that a football fan does.

Beyond wanting them to lose on Sunday I will not stick my beak into their business as what can we know more than an average Burnley fan does?

Burnley might be a small town, but a higher percentage of the population attend football matches than anywhere else in the UK.

Well, it was true a couple of years back. Can't be arsed to check recent figures

I have never liked Burnely style of football and he is part of that . So never wanted him here.

Re: Dyche Sacked!
not to go off topic, but we have to stay in the race for 6th, because as much as l'm loving this cup run, 6th spot is backup route back into European Football next season. We NEED to stay in touch league wise.

If blooding youngsters = effectively throwing games then we need to be a little more conservative than that.

FWIW I think Burnley will try and batter us on Sunday because they simply have to win.

Ben Mee is taking charge of Burnley for the game against us on Sunday?!?!!

Wtf, haha!!

Mike Oxsaw 5:22 Fri Apr 15
Re: Dyche Sacked!
Sunday could turn out to be the perfect day on which to blood some youngsters.

No one will (OK, it's WHO, so should) argue with the chance to give at least some of those who played Thursday a bit of a rest (even though I suspect the players themselves will still want to play).

Try out a few of the stiffs, either for the first half, or, if we're cruising it, the second.

Only argument I can find against such rotation is that our rivals for the 4th CL place all have virtual bankers so we'd run the risk of being cut adrift.

nychammer 4:44 Fri Apr 15
Re: Dyche Sacked!
I think Dyche is a decent manager at the right cub. We wanted him here at one time. He'll go somewhere and do a fine job. Burnley will probably be relegated now.
